Steve McCurry

Steve McCurry is perhaps best known for this photo above that was on the frontcover of a National Geographic issue, entitled "Afghan Girl". I must have seen it somewhere as a child, and the only word I can remember thinking was "beautiful". I didn't believe much in the whole idea of seeing a person through their eyes, but I would imagine this to be an exception.

Steve McCurry has more stunning photographs on his website and how wonderful to get a glimpse into the life of such an awesome artist-his blog.
